Sony Ericsson are set to announce a new member of their XPERIA family, a handset codenamed Shakira, that today is revealed to be the X8.
It’s larger than XPERIA X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro with 3-inch capacitive TFT display (320×480 pixel resolution), powered by 600Mhz processor and running Android 1.6 OS.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 equipped with wifi, 3.2M pixel camera, FM tuner with RDS, 128MB internal memory, microSD slot card up to 2GB included, GPS, bluetooth, microUSB slot, 3.5mm headphone jack and 1200mAh battery.
It’s available in 5 colors: White, Dark Blue/White, Aqua Blue/White, Pink/White, and Silver/White and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 designed to work at GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA networks. Its size is 99×54×15 cm and weight 104grams. The price is not available yet but will be available in the end of Q3 of this year.
