Pulled from Bleu Nature's current winter collection, Lampe Sequoyah features what appear to be found twigs encased in a floating shade. The shade's rigid lines elegantly mirror the dimensions of the lamp's base, creating a suggested symmetry around the interior abstraction. Light emanates from within, and the piece is a sculptural mix of unruly nature and refined modern design. The piece is characteristic of Blue Nature, which is based in Norther France and creates house furnishings with a strong natural streak that blends a sophisticated simplicity with a craft-maker's sensibility.
