» Worlds first glass CD and the most expensive too
(october 2006)

Fine NF Japan has developed the
world's first glass CD and it is not made from some ordinary glass but
optically tempered ultra precise glass which is used in telescopes and
camera lenses. As the CD is completely transparent there is no warping or
distortion, hence it delivers crystal clear sound and super high treble
quality. The CD will deliver the same quality for eternity unlike
polycarbonate CD's. The disc is delivered in a 8mm thick acrylic case with a
unique serial number and quality assurance book.
Coming to the price each CD sells for an astonishing 830$ which can also buy
5200 blank CD-R's.
