The Acer Ferrari 4000 notebook computer styled in black and "Ferrari red" must have had some success, because Acer have announced the release of new dual-core, carbon-fiber cased Acer Ferrari 1000 (ultra-lightweight) and Acer Ferrari 5000 notebooks in North America. Both the Ferrari 1000 and Ferrari 5000 are based on the latest AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology, with prices starting at $1999 and $2299, respectively.
