» DosPara offers two new laptops in Prime series

In yet another release before 25 Dec the DosPara has come up with another couple of new laptops in its much congested prime series.
The Prime Note Helios DN and Prime Note Chronos IB are both priced below the $2000 band with pretty good specs.

The Helios supports 17-inch display (1680 x 1050) and has a Core 2 Duo T5500 pro with 1GB RAM and 100GB of SATA storage capacity. The graphics are driven by GeForce Go 7600 card with 512Mb of dedicated memory and express card. Apart from this there is also space for DVD burner, 2-megapixel webcam and HDMI.

The Chronos IB has a 15.4-inch 1280 x 800 display with express card and a webcam but is a poor brother of Helios but the price tag of $1,100 might make you think otherwise.
The Helios is priced at $1,600 but there is weight problem with these both laptops as they weigh between 3.9 to 2.7 kgs.
